To gain membership a guest has to attend 3 breakfasts and then they submit an application form and complete a Standing Order form.
This then goes to the committee and if agreed it is a one off joining fee of £100 is paid and £25.00 per month by standing order to cover the breakfasts and ongoing membership.
We currently have 20 members and there is only ever one business of any profession so there is no cross over. All membership is subject to our club rules.

“I went to David Knott of Nimmos Insurance in Clacton for quotes for our property and was very impressed at the way he paid so much attention to detail and explained what would be the best policy for us. I would highly recommend his services.”

“I joined TFIB 4 years ago and I was amazed at how much work I gained in a short space of time. They are very friendly and not only is the networking great but they are fun to be with socially. I can recommend the group and it is lovely when we have substitutes stand in that say how much they miss the group now they are not full members. Many who leave because of other commitments often remain on the subs list. Last year 500 pieces of work was passed around the table, so very worth while.”

“Our firm has been a member of Tendring Friends in Business for nearly ten years. We enjoy sharing business opportunities with other members in a friendly environment over lovely breakfasts. It gives members a chance to share and solve problems that face businesses, as well as the odd joke or two. What better face to face way to meet so many potential customers (and suppliers) for your business every fortnight? To sum up TFiB is well worth getting up early for”

“I had prospective clients for new telephones to be fitted, Graham and his staff from Sound and Vision were very helpful and informative. I am happy to recommend them to any of my contacts.”

“I went to Owen Wren for prices on some decoration and he came out very competative indeed, he has since decorated my hall, dining room and the painted the outside of my house with extremely good end results.”
